Dimitris Kastoris

Dimitris Kastoris has been in the forefront of Strategy International since its birth from 2008. Dimitris is an achor man and journalist for a regional channel in Northern Greece named “Alpha Tileorasi”. He is based at the Historical City of Drama, in Greece. He has worked to this day for National, Peripheral and Local Media Centers for all purposes, radio, TV and Internet. As a Journalist and reporter, Dimitris has the ability to anticipate and create innovative solutions for Major national and international press affairs. He has also been Chief Editor of News Broadcasting in a variety of past TV and Radio or Internet Channels he was working and been associated with. At a parallel professional life, he has been the chief Press and Public relations officer for a variety of Members of Parliament and Members of Heads of the Periphery that he resides in, the Eastern Macedonia, Greece.

 

Dimitris Speaks Fluently Russian and Engish. He is a Native Greek Speaker.

Niki Iliadis

Projects Development Officer

Strategy International

 

Niki joined Strategy International in January 2012. She was born in Thessaloniki. Raised in the United States, she received her BA in Political Science at UC Berkeley. During her studies, her research focused primarily on international relations and diplomacy. She has worked among others at the U.S. Consulate General Thessaloniki as a state intern, conducting research, writing reflections of local events and news, and proving assistance to consulate officers. She interned at the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe, where she helps develop project proposals that aim to foster democratic and pluralist societies in the region. Niki speaks fluent English and Greek, and has good command of the Spanish language. Her hobbies include teaching, working with children, and traveling.

Maria Pachta

Ms. Pachta, Joined Strategy International in 2011. Graduated from the English Language and Literature Department of Aristotle University. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Translation Studies, Leeds University. Working in secondary and University Education Levels in Barcelona, Spain she earned her great and practical insight of a multicultural educational environment. She is an official translator and Interpreter. She has worked as a translator for various international academic institutes and has experience in interpreting from Spanish/English into Greek. Her interests involve international affairs, intercultural education and immigration matters.

John Karagiannopoulos

Director of Administration

Strategy International

 

John Joined Strategy International in 2011. He is a graduate of Political Science and History from the University of  Sunderland (UK). Holds a Masters Degree in Diplomatic Studies from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Leicester (UK). He has developed a great interest in Public and International Affairs and is actively involved in political affairs within the boundaries of his municipality.

He speaks French and he is fluent in English language.

Ioannis Proios

Human Resource Manager

Giannis is Human Resource Manager. He holds a M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from Cardiff University, Wales, U.K. He also holds a B.A. in International Economic Relations and Development from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece and he has also studied in the Economics Faculty of University of Ljubljana, Slovenia as part of the ‘’Socrates-Erasmus’’ programme. His interests include balkan history, intra-balkan economic relations and co-operation and International HRM.

He speaks English, French and Bulgarian.

Vassilis Yiannaki

Human Resource Manager

Vasilis is Human Resource Manager at Strategy International. His work is concentrated around the project for “change” for Strategy International’s decade to come. He holds a BSc in Economic Policy and Development at University of Thessaly Greece, and an M.Sc. in Human Resource Management & Organizational Behavior from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. His interests vary. Among others his professional and personal focus is concentrated on Global Economics, Economic History and Human Recourses Strategies and Business Development.

  Selini Michailidou

Executive Assistant to the CEO & Founder

Strategy International

 

Ms. Michailidou Joined Strategy International in 2010. She is assistant to the CEO of Strategy International. She concluded her Masters at the University of Kingston, in Hazards and Disaster Management. She also holds a degree in Civil Engineering, from the Department of infrastructure from the Technological Institute of Thessaloniki. She has a previous working experience at Technical Companies as responsible for designing and editing of ISO 9001:2008 system. She worked at the Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Thessaloniki. She is a Member of the YMCA of Thessaloniki and was a volunteer at the Athens Special Olympics 2011 of Athens.

Selina speaks English.

Despina Teppeli

Communications & Development (Greece &Cyprus)

Strategy International

 

Despina Teppeli Joined Strategy International in 2010. She holds a Masters at the University of Nottingham (MA) on Social and Global Justice. She also holds a degree from the University of Cyprus in Political and International Affairs. Her recent international actions includes working on a rapprochement project between Cypriot natives (both Greek and Turkish) in Cyprus. Despina has been a key of administration for the preparation of the last 2 international annual conferences of Strategy International. In her prior professional positions Despina held positions in off-shore financial and petrol companies for the region of Southeastern Europe and the Middle East. In her early studies, Despina also worked for LGS Handling aiport services.

Lazarou Efrosyni

Efrosyni joined Strategy International in 2013. She has recently finished her MA in Globalisation and Development at the University of Sheffield (with Distinction). She also holds a degree in Political Science and a minor degree in Gender Studies from the University of Cyprus (excellent). Her research interests include: political economy of globalisation, global politics of the environment and climate change, politics of development.

Amalia Kargopoulou

Amalia Kargopoulou Joined Strategy International in 2011. She has graduated from the School of Political Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, during which she was awarded a scholarship of excellence by the State Scholarship Foundation. She continued her studies at postgraduate level in the Department of War Studies, King's College London. She specializes in the research of conflict, security and development and the complex relations between them.

Zenonas Tziarras is currently a PhD student of Politics & International Studies at the University of Warwick, UK, where he researches Turkish Foreign Policy and Grand Strategy. He holds a BA in Mediterranean Studies (pathway in International Relations), from the University of the Aegean, Greece, and an MA in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Birmingham, UK, where he participated in the research programs “Post-Soviet Politics” and “Natural Resources and Conflict Management”. Zenonas is a columnist for the online magazine “Global Politics” as well as co-editor of the online magazine “The Globalized World Post” (TheGWPost). He attended specialization courses in International Security at the University of Delhi, India, and he has been a researcher and Intern at the Peace Research Institute of Oslo Cyprus (PRIO CC). He has been published in Cypriot and Greek newspapers. His main interests lie in Turkish Politics/Foreign Policy, Foreign Policy Analysis, Security/Strategic Culture, Geopolitics, (Grand) Strategy, and Ethnic Conflict & Conflict Resolution.
