Ms. Pachta, Graduated from the English Language and Literature Department of Aristotle University. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Translation Studies, Leeds University. Working in secondary and University Education Levels in Barcelona, Spain she earned her great and practical insight of a multicultural educational environment. She is an official translator and Interpreter. She has worked as a translator for various international academic institutes and has some experience in interpreting from Spanish/English into Greek. Her interests involve international affairs, intercultural education and immigration matters.

Dorothée Cailleux

Associate Editor,

Strategy International


Born in 1980, Dorothée teaches translation and French Language at the Ecole Supérieure d'Interprètes et de Traducteurs (ESIT), Paris. She has a Phd in German literature and is a former student at the Ecole Normale Supérieure d'Ulm, Paris. She has worked as a Translator and a Terminologist at the European Parliament and was a teaching assistant at the University Paris IV Sorbonne, giving classes in German Translation and Literature. She also works as an independent journalist and is the secretary of a cultural association. She is interested in intercultural relations, arts and education.

Dorothee speaks French, English, German, Italian and studies Greek.

John Karagiannopoulos

Director of Administration Strategy International

Born in 1975, John is currently a public servant in municipality of Alexandria Imathias in central Macedonia. He is a graduate of Political Science and History from the University of  Sunderland (UK). He also obtained a Masters Degree in Diplomatic Studies from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Leicester (UK). He has developed a great interest in Public and International Affairs and is actively involved in political affairs within the boundaries of his municipality. He speaks French and he is fluent in English language.

Ioannis Proios

Head of Human Resources

Strategy International


Giannis holds a M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from Cardiff University, Wales, U.K. He also holds a B.A. in International Economic Relations and Development from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece and he has also studied in the Economics Faculty of University of Ljubljana, Slovenia as part of the ‘’Socrates-Erasmus’’ programme. His interests include balkan history, intra-balkan economic relations and co-operation and International HRM.

He speaks English, French and Bulgarian.

  Selini Michailidou

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Michailidou is assistant to the President. She is currently conducting a mid-career Masters at the University of Kingston, Hazards and Disaster Management. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering, from the Department of infrastructure from the Technological Institute of Thessaloniki. She has a previous working experience at Technical Companies as responsible for designing and editing of ISO 9001:2008 system. She has also worked at the Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Thessaloniki. She is a Member of the YMCA of Thessaloniki and was a volunteer at the Athens Special Olympics 2011 of Athens.

Ms. Michailidou speaks English.

Mr. Kapoulas holds a Bachelors degree in International Studies, with a concentration in Europe and Peace & Conflict Resolution from American University`s School of International Studies (SIS). Mr. Kapoulas began his Masters degree in Statecraft and National Security Affairs at The Institute of World Politics in Washington DC after receiving the Statesman Scholarship. He then completed his MA in International Relations at the University of Indianapolis, Athens campus. His interests are US & European foreign policy and socio-cultural issues. Mr. Kapoulas speaks fluent English, Greek and basic Spanish and Italian.

Despina Teppeli

 

Public Relations & Administration Officer, Strategy International

Program on Outreach & Primary Analysis

Despina Teppeli is the Public Relations, Administration Officer and Assistant to the Director for all Institute Events. She is also a Masters student studying at the University of Nottingham (MA) on Social and Global Justice. She holds a degree from the University of Cyprus in Political and International Affairs. Her recent international actions includes working on a rapprochement project between Cypriot natives (both Greek and Turkish) in Cyprus. Despina has been a key of administration for the preparation of the last 2 international annual conferences of Strategy International. In her prior professional positions Despina held positions in off-shore financial and petrol companies for the region of Southeastern Europe and the Middle East. In her early studies, Despina also worked for LGS Handling aiport services.

Kliatsi Kafenia

(News anchorist/Journalist)

Head of Press of Strategy International

Ms. Kafenia (Fenia) Kliatsi is the new Head of Strategy International’s Press and Media Relations. She is a News anchor and Journalist. She has studied Journalism and Mass Media in Thessaloniki. She is and has been a reporter and journalist and now an anchor for the last 12 years. She has worked as a reporter, radio producer, newscaster at the Media Agencies in Northern Greece. She has also been in charge at an earlier stage at and for the press office of the Mayor of the Municipality of Kalamaria in Thessaloniki. Fenia has also an extensive experience in politics. She has been amongst others, a candidate for the municipal elections in 2006. She is currently a news anchor and journalist at the Digital Europe1 channel in Thessaloniki.

Dimitrios Anagnostou

Dimitris is a Bachelor’s student at the American College of Thessaloniki (ACT). He is studying International Relations and Diplomacy. He is also a Bachelor’s student at the Technological Institute of Thessaloniki at the School of Economics and management at the Department of Business Travel Section. He is a student in the department of International European Studies at the University of Macedonia. Kostas’ interests are focused on Global Economic Development, Political issues, Diplomacy and International Relations. He is keen on studying about other civilizations and their history their effects on their current policy. He is an active member of the Students Association at University of Macedonia and takes part at many seminars on political, strategic and international affairs.
